In addition, there are 19 intricately designed, long, dangling chandeliers sparkling like jewels, especially when they are lit at night for an occasion, adding immense lustre to this hall where the Nizams once used to entertain their guests. Indeed nowadays the palace is open to the public and special functions and parties can be held here. The Roshan Bungla is a smaller building that is named after the mother of the sixth Nizam and here also private functions and parties can be held.
